Miranda's first memory of music was bouncing on her father's knee playing 'Ride A Cock Horse To Banbury Cross'. Such experiences were followed by a great enjoyment of all musical activities at playgroup and then her first piano lesson at infant school. She played the violin and tuba (!) in school ensembles and always took an active role in choirs and musical productions. Her love of music continued throughout her University years and led to her first job as a qualified teacher in a primary school and nursery as a music specialist.

Once Miranda had her own children she began delivering Early Years music sessions for Eastleigh college. She also became involved with several music projects within Portsmouth, Hampshire and Southampton.

In 2002 she co-wrote 'The Guide To Music For 0 - 3 Years' produced by Music Fusion. Miranda now works in local infant schools and Early Years settings as a music specialist as well as running Mini Maestros on two mornings a week. She leads music training courses for Early Years practitioners and over the last 12 years has worked with a huge range of adults and children promoting fun and simple music delivery for babies and young children. Miranda has a wealth of experience and is known for her energetic and creative approach to music education.
